Karma means both action and memory. There is no memory without action and no action without memory.

You have no choice about what the world does to you. But what you make out of it is entirely yours – this is Karma.

What is happening within you and how you experience your life is entirely your making – your karma.  

If you dismantle your karmic structure completely, you merge with existence. This is what mukti or ultimate liberation means – to become free from the very process of life, birth, and death.
