How you are should never be determined by how someone else is. If you allow that, you will be a slave to that someone.

Physically, psychologically, emotionally, and energy-wise, you must break your limitations. That is when your perceptions expands.

Birth and death are just passages where life is moving from one phase to another.

Especially if unpleasant things have happened in your life, you should become wise, not wounded.  

It is important that you live strong. Living strong does not mean showing your muscles. It means your level of experience is intense and enormous.
