To make something a part of yourself, you have to shed a part of yourself.

If you want to enjoy stillness, you must be super alert. Deathlike stillness is of no value. When you become super alert but Still, possibilities open up.  

Ultimately, life is neither suffering nor bliss. It is what you make it.  

If your happiness depends upon what is happening outside of you, you will always be a slave to the external situation.

Without the necessary energy, being aware is extremely difficult. That’s why sadhana – to stir up the energy.
