Who you are is your making. Once you understand this, at least you must make yourself to your own liking.

Conscious action does not produce Karma - reaction does.

If you use your activity to entangle yourself – that is called karma. If you use the same activity to liberate yourself – that is called Dharma.  

Your likes and dislikes are the very foundation of your karma.

Of all kinds of karma, using occult forces for one's own benefit or to the harm of others has the worst consequences for oneself.
