When someone dies, we may think they are 'dead', but as far as they are concerned, they just lost their body and along with it all discretion and discerning powers - because now there is no mind. Every culture has been aware of this – irrespective of where or what religion – when someone is dying, whoever he may be, you must create a pleasant atmosphere. Even if your enemy is dying, at that one moment you do not create unpleasantness for him. 'Kalabhairava Karma' is one such Yogic process to help transition the 'dead' .
Kashi, Varanasi or Benares - a city known by many names - is ancient than the legend itself. But is it just another ancient city that came about along the journey of human civilization or there is something else to it? This city was created as a huge energy device - a manifestation of a mega human body to make contact with a larger cosmic body. As Sadhguru explains the science behind the mystical aspects of the city and its many rituals, some of which one can experience even today, it will leave you mesmerized, perplexed and in awe of human capabilities.
Yogis who have mastery of over certain life processes can certainly bring the dead alive. There are occult practices (a.k.a tantrik practices in India), wherein people who gain access to this mystical dimension of life can make this happen. There are many stories in India recounting dead coming alive, some of them historically recorded as well.
The word 'Occult' is associated with fear, negativity and something to be avoided. But Occult is just like a technology. Modern science and Occult will meet one day. Occult is being passed of as mysticism or a spiritual process, which is totally incorrect. While Occult is still at a physical level, mysticism is beyond physical. To use an analogy – Occult is like technology, Mysticism is science. Like science, Mysticism is a way to know what the nature of this existence is.
Sadhguru tells us that with a certain understanding, if someone has a photo of someone, they can do both positive things and negative things to a person. He explains that an image has a geometry of its own; and that using a simple experiment with Rudraksh or with just your own sensitivity, you can easily sense the unique geometry of even a two-dimensional picture.
