Especially when we face hard times, it is all the more important that we remain balanced and focused on what matters to us. The most important thing is to first identify what is it that truly matters to us irrespective of the situations in which we exist. What is it that is most important in our lives. And about being balanced in times of crisis – without balance and the needed focus how can we handle a crisis. We are calling something a crisis, simply because we are unfamiliar with the situation, and we have still not figured out how to handle it. There are so many challenges which we consciously seek and if we manage to win those situations we are considering it an achievement. There are some situations that we have not yet figured how to handle. So do not call them crisis, they are just situations that we are yet to figure, so there is a certain amount of challenge. When there is a challenge the best in you needs to come out. For this balance and focus is most vital. How does a human being remain balanced when situations seem threatening or overwhelming. The fundamental thing is this – a human being has to respond to the stimulus that comes our way. If you compulsively react to the stimulus – now a situation becomes a crisis. You become a crisis actually. So the essence of being human compared to other creatures is – they all instinctively react. A human being is capable of conscious response. This is where your humanity will overflow. This is where your intelligence will find its target. This is where your genius will unfold. May the best be with you. Blessings to you.
