Stop fear based education – fear is the biggest obstacle to success
Transcript: I think it's pathetic. A human being has to construct their life. Human beings have to construct their lives, all the time thinking about how to earn a living. An earthworm, a grasshopper, a bird on the tree, all of them earn their living, isn't it? With such a big brain, you're supposed to do something little different than just earn a living. Earning a living should be the most basic thing. With...

How To Concentrate on Your Studies?
Don't look at concentrating; look at producing the best results for yourself. If you sit with a textbook, your mind is distracted. But if you watch a movie, you are totally focused. When you read a love story, or a crime thriller - you are relaxed - you not only read fast, but you remember everything that you read! But with textbooks, its always a struggle. The difference is only your level of involvement. So, fall in love with what you are studying. When you fall in love with something, you are naturally involved and focused.

What is Vidyarambham?
In the Indian culture, education of a child is always started after a certain process, called 'Vidyarambham'. This is so, so that before a child is empowered, in some way it is brought into the life of the child that he feels a certain responsibility for everything in the existence. This is important, otherwise intelligence will work against humanity. Sadhguru tells us, that it is only because the intelligent people in the world have co-operated, that today we have the most violent ways to destroy humanity, enabling a violent man to kill millions.

Why The Current Education System Is Limited?
Sadhguru says that the current education system has become like an industrial process, churning out products. It is conditioning the mind to look at everything in a very limited way. He says - "You will see all those people who are using their intellect and think they are doing great will become irrelevant in the next ten to fifteen years’ time because everything that you can do by gathering data and analyzing it is going to become irrelevant". Sadhguru suggests that there are other ways of doing education, in a way that it develops the body and mind to the fullest extent.

Why Do I Find My Education Pointless?
Our education system was built for obedience to provide clerks for her majesty's service. A fundamental change needs to come in the education policy. Not every child needs to go into academic education. Few can do that, and other need to learn other skills, for their own well-being and for the well-being of the society at large. But right now, if a farmer takes his child to the field, then he can be arrested for child labor! Then how will the skill of farming get passed on? Who will grow our food in the next generation? So structural changes in education system are needed.

The Power Of ‘I Do Not Know’
This is a captivating read! Sadhguru tells us about his days at school, and why he always wanted to run away from it! Young people have always had questions, but they never really get addressed. Usually they are given some advice or sermons. We need to realize that 'I don't know' is the only doorway to knowing - so questions should be encouraged. And people should have the courage to seek clarity and invest their lives in finding the solutions to their questions.

Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore – Is Over Exposure Of Technology Destroying Youth?
Technology has made our lives easy and comfortable - but we are still complaining about it! The problem is not technology, it is just that people have not prepared themselves for the life they need to handle. Unless you make yourself capable to handle the various realities of today, you will complain. In the early years of life, the focus should be to enhance the life to a higher level of possibility. Once sufficient time is invested in inner development, handling the outside situations will be effortless.

What’s wrong with the education system, and how to fix it.
Sadhguru says - "There are studies which say that if a child goes through twenty years of formal education and comes out with a Ph.D, seventy percent of his intelligence is irrevocably destroyed.". Today, it is the economic engine which is driving everything. The purpose of education is to broaden the horizons, which the current system is not doing. To change the education system, Sadhguru suggests that we need to 'upgrade' those who deliver education - "If we do this, every system will work well. If we are interested in the future generations, the best people in the world must go into teaching. What a child needs is inspiration, not just information."
