The Story of Shiva and Sati – Birth of 54 Shakti Sthalas

Shiva found access to the reality of creation in utter stillness or in absolute movement. Intrigued by watching him move from utter stillness to mad dance, and being in absolute ecstasy in both, the Gandharvas and Yakshas were keen to get an grasp of this experience. To have an insider, they plotted and got Shiva married to Sati. Why Is Adiyogi Statue 112ft?

Sadhguru tells us that among all the senses that a human being has the visual perception has the most significant impact. Also, to get the geometry absolutely right the statue it had to be a certain size. Above all, Sadhguru wanted to the face to exude three dimensions;  Exuberance, Stillness and Intoxication.
