Love should always be a liberating process. Not an entangling one. The very nature of love is liberating. To put it simply, love means you have attained to a certain sweetness and exuberance of emotion. When your emotions are sweet and exuberant, how can it be entangling? It can only be liberating.
Love is not something that you do, Love is something that you can become
Unless you’re trying to use love as a way of extracting something from someone, unless you’re using love as a transactional process, there is no way love can be entangling. First and foremost thing that one needs to understand is – Love is not something that you do, Love is something that you can become. If you are being love, you are in the sweetest mode and a highly exuberant mode. In this, you are an overflowing of life. In this, there cannot be any entanglement. But you are trying to milk another person with this trick of love. Then, of course, it will be entangled. May you know the joy, may you know the beauty, and may you know the self-obliteration of being in love, falling in love.
